Sponsored 10k

Last year three club mums raised funds for the club by taking part in the Diet Coke East Kilbride 10k Fun Run. It was a glorious day but the heat didn't help their finishing times despite a sprint at the end. After their exertion, Eileen, Jennifer and Gillian were glad to have a welcoming party in the shape of Caitlin, Jennifer, Abby and Ailsa, and delighted to keep fit whilst benefiting the club too!!!

This year the run is being held on Sunday 25th June 2006 at the John Wright Sports Centre, East Kilbride. Several club mums, dads and friends plan to take part and we hope their sponsorship will go a long way to ensure the club thrives in the year ahead.

Ladies Night

The club's Ladies Night has become an annual event and is always our biggest generator of funds. The most recent in March 2006 raised over £450 thanks to family and friends who attended and to local businesses who donated raffle prizes. Special thanks to the following companies for their support:

Fundraising over the years

As a registered charity we rely almost entirely on fund raising. Over the years we have staged such events as a pop quiz for the adults, a sponsored assault course for the children, a sponsored walk around James Hamilton Heritage Park, various quizzes and a karaoke evening which is planned for October 6th 2006.
